Thank you for taking some time to view my newly made blog. My name is Nicola Hestnes, I am currently a graphic design student at Pacific Design Academy in Victoria, British Columbia Canada. This is my first year attending the school and I am in my third week so far. It is definitely a change from high school (as I just graded grade 12 in June) but it's nice that I chose a career that I believe I will certainly enjoy and I have always had a passion for art growing up. The course is excellent; I have met some very talented people and I look forward to what the future holds
As for art, my other interest is music. I enjoy listening to many different genres of music old and new and I am an active performer in the Victoria area with my band Reverie. I enjoy singing, playing guitar, mandolin, piano, and flute.
What you will be seeing on this blog will be my experience in college, my music, interests, and inspirations. Once again thank you for reading and I will hopefully post one of my completed projects tomorrow :)
